Managing Director, GTM AI

About the role

Google Cloud is seeking a Managing Director to lead its GTM AI strategy across EMEA. You will guide enterprise customers from AI experimentation to large‑scale, production‑grade deployments of Google’s AI suite.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of expert builder‑consultants focused on the “last mile” integration of Google AI solutions for enterprise customers.
• Act as executive sponsor, steering complex customers through the transition to secure, fully integrated AI production environments.
• Define and execute strategic road‑maps that combine deep technical architecture with commercial acumen to drive massive platform consumption.
• Oversee the technical lifecycle of major AI‑oriented projects, ensuring rapid, secure deployment on customer infrastructure.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in technical sales engineering or software engineering with cloud‑native architectures.
• Proven experience managing multi‑layered technical teams in enterprise software environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Generative AI, large language models, and cloud infrastructure.
• Track record of defining strategies and deploying production‑grade AI solutions for external enterprise customers.
• Preferred: MBA or advanced technical degree (Master’s/PhD) in AI or Computer Science.
• Preferred: Experience orchestrating Gemini Enterprise, Vertex AI, and multi‑agent systems at enterprise scale.
• Exceptional executive presence with the ability to conduct deep discovery interviews and align with C‑suite leaders.
