Managing Partner – Lead New Dubai Office

About the role

Lexminster, an international business‑oriented law firm, is launching a new office in Dubai and seeks a Managing Partner to establish and lead the practice. This entrepreneurial position offers the chance to build a legal team from the ground up in a dynamic financial hub, backed by a global client base.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the Dubai office, including licensing (DIFC, ADGM or on‑shore) and regulatory compliance.
• Define and execute a local strategy aligned with Lexminster’s international vision.
• Recruit, develop and lead a team of legal professionals.
• Originate and nurture client relationships across the UAE and GCC.
• Lead complex corporate/M&A, banking & finance, and capital markets transactions.
• Collaborate with partners in other Lexminster offices on cross‑border deals.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with the right to practice in the UAE (DIFC, ADGM or on‑shore admission, or eligible for registration).
• Strong background in corporate/M&A, banking & finance, or capital markets.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and experience building a practice.
• Established professional network in the UAE/GCC is highly advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, business development and client relationship abilities.
• Fluent English.
