Market Access Lead – Gulf Region

About the role

The Market Access Lead Gulf will shape and execute AbbVie’s market access strategy across Gulf countries. Reporting to the Market Access Director, the role coordinates cross‑functional teams to accelerate product access, optimise pricing and reimbursement, and support affiliate business objectives for all therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Align Gulf market access strategy with regional and global priorities while feeding local insights into broader planning.
• Lead the development and execution of market access plans for the full Gulf portfolio, prioritising opportunities and challenges.
• Design and implement innovative market access solutions, driving cross‑functional teamwork.
• Define strategic actions in response to evolving market conditions and identify solutions to speed product entry.
• Lead cross‑functional task forces to provide early insights for new products (pre‑Phase 3) and tailor clinical development for optimal access and pricing.
• Collaborate closely with Medical, Government Affairs and other functions to build networks with decision‑makers and influence joint programmes.
• Coach and develop a team of seven Market Access Managers Gulf, fostering capability and execution excellence.

Required profile

• Reports to the Market Access Director and manages a team of Market Access Managers Gulf.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence external stakeholders.
• Experience in shaping market access strategies within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
