Marketing Intern – Hotel Marketing Trainee

About the role

The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing Director in promoting Kempinski Mall of the Emirates hotel and its outlets, helping to position the property as a market leader. This role offers hands‑on experience in both online and offline hotel marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and secretarial support for the marketing office, including scheduling, filing, and handling correspondence.
• Process purchase orders, expense claims, and vendor invoices; act as point of contact for billing matters.
• Assist in creating and implementing marketing campaigns, promotions, and packages.
• Coordinate photo‑shoots, maintain hotel listings in media, and upload images to internal storage systems.
• Plan and execute direct marketing initiatives, maintain guest mailing databases, and liaise with the F&B department.
• Support the development of media and marketing plans, conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking.
• Prepare presentations, office giveaways, and collateral materials.
• Ensure compliance with corporate identity guidelines and update marketing documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing or a related field, or an apprenticeship in Hospitality.
• Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work in a multinational environment and collaborate with internal departments and external agencies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles and graphic/print terminology.
