Mason – Civil Maintenance (Dubai)

About the role

The Mason will carry out masonry, tiling, plastering, waterproofing and other civil maintenance tasks for residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform brickwork, blockwork, plastering, rendering, screeding and concrete repair.
• Lay tiles, grout, and install marble and stone finishes.
• Prepare and execute waterproofing works as directed.
• Carry out demolition, wall cutting, core cutting and reinstatement when required.
• Repair cracks and damage in walls, ceilings, floors and pavements.
• Mix mortar, cement and concrete in correct proportions.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Identify material requirements and report shortages.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and work overtime as needed.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Mason in building maintenance, fit‑out or construction.
• Experience with residential villa maintenance is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of manual work.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of safe working practices and proper use of construction tools.
