About the role
LEAMS Education is seeking an experienced Math Head of Department (HOD) to lead the CBSE curriculum in its Dubai school. The successful candidate will oversee the mathematics department, drive pedagogical excellence, and ensure high student outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with teachers to enhance skills, knowledge and pedagogy, improving student outcomes.
- Contribute effectively to team planning and curriculum development.
- Work with school leaders to raise academic standards across the department.
- Ensure teaching practices align with the UAE framework of teaching.
- Manage additional departmental duties as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
- Master of Science in Mathematics.
- Bachelor of Education (distance or open university degrees not accepted).
- Fully qualified with exceptional subject knowledge.
- Good command of English.
- Available to work in the UAE.
