Mathematics Teacher (GCSE/A-Level) – August Start

About the role

We are seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher to join GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail, starting in August 2026. The role involves delivering GCSE and A‑Level mathematics curricula within a high‑performing, inclusive school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach GCSE and A‑Level mathematics classes, ensuring student achievement exceeds national averages.

Required profile

• BEd or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven qualified experience teaching GCSE and A‑Level mathematics.
• Ability to share exemplary teaching practices.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues, students and parents.
• Track record of delivering outstanding learning and teaching.
• Commitment to contribute positively to the school community and extracurricular activities.
