Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Industrial Mechatronics

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer specialized in industrial mechatronics to join Eaton’s Dubai hub. The role focuses on servicing, maintaining and integrating mechanical components of machines and automated production lines, leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve mechanical components of machines and systems using process engineering and continuous improvement techniques.
• Perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems, including inspections, cleaning and lubrication.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in robot‑controlled production systems, image processing, drive and safety technologies.
• Define and enhance predictive maintenance plans and carry out functional and performance tests on automation equipment.
• Collaborate with tool makers, engineers and external partners to implement improvements and support employee training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in industrial automation and maintenance.
• Experience with CAM‑controlled machines such as Bihler, Wafios or Finzer.

Required skills

• Industry 4.0 technologies (3D printing, AMR).
• High‑speed automatic assembly lines (Stiwa, PIA, Festo, Omron, B&R, DA Automation).
• Mechanical/electrical CAD (Creo Direct).
• Robot integration and programming (Mitsubishi, Stäubli).
• Machine safety, fault diagnosis and rectification on mechanical, electrical and electronic components.
• Knowledge of Bihler punching, welding and bending technologies.
