About the role
Our client, a leading paper manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced Mechatronic Engineer to manage hydraulic and mechatronic systems on modern paper machines in Abu Dhabi. The role requires a strong hands‑on background, rapid learning ability and the capacity to take responsibility from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot and operate hydraulic and mechatronic systems on paper machines.
- Lead and supervise a field technical team, ensuring effective problem resolution.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities using CMMS/SAP.
- Provide independent technical solutions and support under operational requirements.
Required profile
- 10–15 years of experience in paper machine hydraulic/mechatronic engineering or comparable heavy‑industry roles.
- Proven hands‑on experience with modern paper machines and complex hydraulic systems.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to guide and supervise field technicians.
- Experience in work planning and maintenance scheduling through CMMS/SAP.
