Medical Director – International BBU (Baxdrostat)

About the role

This senior position leads the medical strategy and launch readiness for the Baxdrostat biologic across international markets. Based in Dubai, you will bridge global vision with regional needs, turning scientific evidence into patient‑focused outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑launch and launch planning for Baxdrostat, ensuring medical readiness from day one.
• Design and co‑create the regional medical and brand strategy in partnership with Commercial leadership.
• Provide medical input to Commercial, Regulatory and Market Access teams to shape evidence plans and value narratives.
• Coach and enable country medical teams through training, knowledge‑sharing and compliance guidance.
• Develop and oversee evidence generation, external medical education and insight‑gathering programmes.
• Build strategic relationships with external experts to inform strategy and advocacy.
• Collaborate closely with global and regional teams to align priorities and integrate regional needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 96 months (8 years) of experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of launch planning, strategic medical planning and evidence generation.
• Excellent communication skills to convey scientific information to internal and external audiences.
