Medical Representative – Cardiovascular & Renal Medicines

About the role

The Medical Representative for Cardiovascular & Renal Medicines (CVRM) will engage primary‑care healthcare professionals in Abu Dhabi, promoting AstraZeneca’s approved products and influencing prescribing behaviour to meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals about product efficacy, safety and approved indications.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and execute a territory business plan that achieves call‑execution and sales goals.
• Drive sales performance, forecast accurately and manage budgets to exceed therapeutic and market expectations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market dynamics, demographics and managed‑care information within the assigned territory.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations governing interactions with healthcare professionals and sample distribution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of the commercial pharmaceutical marketplace and proven project‑management abilities.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Prior experience in CVRM therapy, UAE market or Abu Dhabi private accounts is preferred.
