Medical Science Liaison – Immunology (Gastroenterology) – Gulf

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Immunology (Gastroenterology) will serve as a scientific bridge between Johnson & Johnson and leading healthcare specialists across the Gulf region. Based in Dubai, the MSL will communicate high‑quality scientific information about our immunology portfolio, supporting the Medical Affairs plan and contributing to both short‑term and long‑term business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Stay current with medical and scientific advancements in immunology and gastroenterology.
• Continuously update knowledge of Johnson & Johnson products, patient treatment trends, and clinical studies within the therapeutic area.
• Develop and maintain a network of leading specialists, including physicians, pharmacists, hospital managers, and scientific society board members.
• Understand specialists’ needs, treatment patterns, and scientific activities to tailor communications.
• Communicate the value of company products, including formulary discussions and scientific data exchange.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background in immunology, gastroenterology, or related therapeutic areas.
• Demonstrated ability to discuss complex scientific data with healthcare professionals on a peer‑to‑peer basis.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with a focus on scientific credibility.
• Ability to work independently and align activities with the Medical Affairs strategic plan.
