Merchant Acquiring POS Sales Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Merchant Acquiring and POS Sales professional to drive the acquisition of SME merchants for POS terminals, BNPL solutions and digital payment services in Abu Dhabi. The role combines field sales, merchant onboarding and relationship management to achieve monthly revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire SME merchants for POS terminals, BNPL and card payment services.
• Conduct regular field visits to retail outlets, restaurants and other businesses to generate new leads.
• Manage the complete merchant onboarding process, ensuring documentation and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and provide training on POS and payment solutions.
• Monitor merchant activity, support POS and BNPL activation, and coordinate installations with internal teams.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, report updates and achieve monthly acquisition and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in merchant acquiring, POS acquiring, BNPL sales or SME banking.
• Strong field‑sales background with the ability to generate leads independently.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Availability to join immediately or within 30 days.
