Metrology, Inspection & Product Quality Manager

About the role

The company is a leading aerospace and propulsion technology provider based in Abu Dhabi. It seeks a Metrology, Inspection & Product Quality Manager to define and lead inspection and metrology strategy across turbofan, micro‑jet and piston‑engine programs, from new product introduction to serial production.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the inspection and metrology technology roadmap aligned with propulsion program needs.
• Lead capital investment planning for CMMs, optical inspection systems, laser scanning, industrial CT and in‑process gauging solutions.
• Serve as final approval authority for supplier product approvals, APQP, PFMEA, control plans, MSA, PPAP and FAI packages.
• Govern quality decisions, maintain approval gates and ensure compliance with AS9102 and other aerospace standards.
• Own inspection activities throughout the NPI lifecycle, establishing inspection concepts, datum strategies, tolerance verification methods and measurement plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in metrology, inspection and product quality within aerospace or advanced manufacturing.
• Proven leadership of cross‑functional teams and capital investment projects.
• Strong knowledge of NPI, APQP, PPAP, FAI and aerospace quality standards (AS9102).
• Ability to assess supplier compliance and manage technical risk.
