MLRO & Compliance Officer – ADGM Broker Dealer (UAE)

About the role

Bybit is seeking a senior MLRO & Compliance Officer to lead the compliance and financial‑crime function for its ADGM‑licensed broker‑dealer entity. The role combines regulatory oversight with hands‑on execution, working closely with trading, product and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor the compliance framework in line with FSRA Rules, FSMR, MIR and related regulations, including trade surveillance and conflict‑of‑interest controls.
• Lead the AML/CFT and sanctions programme, receive and investigate internal suspicious activity reports, and file required reports via goAML.
• Provide independent compliance advice to the Board and senior management, and liaise with the FSRA on supervisory matters.
• Develop and maintain AML policies, risk assessments, customer due diligence and ongoing monitoring tailored to virtual‑asset and brokerage risks.

Required profile

• 10+ years senior compliance or financial‑crime experience within ADGM, DIFC or comparable regulated environments.
• Proven track record in a broker‑dealer or trading firm, with experience in trade surveillance and regulatory authorisations.
• Strong knowledge of FSRA Rules, FSMR, ADGM AML Rulebook and sanctions frameworks.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‑on in a fast‑growing business.
