About the role
The Monobrand Business Development Executive will lead growth for Apple’s monobrand retail partners across Africa, Islands and the Middle East. You will build strong relationships with distributors and retailers, drive joint business plans, and enhance both in‑store and digital experiences to expand Apple’s market share.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key distributor and retail stakeholders.
- Design and execute joint business plans aligned with partner strategies to increase Apple’s market share in the region.
- Elevate retail performance by strengthening digital capabilities, in‑store execution, and staff competencies.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with distributors, retail partners, operations, and sales finance on expansion and upgrade plans.
- Define and implement marketing, in‑store activities, and traffic‑driving initiatives to maximize sell‑through.
- Deploy competitive affordability programs such as financing, trade‑in, and forward trade‑in to support conversion.
- Monitor and optimise POS performance, including inventory management, assortment planning, and store coverage.
- Maintain deep market and store‑level insights through regular field engagement and translate observations into actionable strategies.
- Represent the Apple brand with excellence, ensuring consistency with global standards across all partner touchpoints.
Required profile
- Significant commercial experience working with retailers or channel partners.
- Experience operating and influencing within a multinational organisation.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and ability to translate complex data into business intelligence.
- Strong communication skills at multiple organisational levels, both inside and outside the company.
- Demonstrates a high degree of ownership and accountability.
