Multi NDT Technician (UT, MT, PT, Radiography)

About the role

The Multi NDT Technician will perform a range of nondestructive testing methods—including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, radiographic, hardness, PMI and ferrite testing—to assess piping and pipeline welds in accordance with industry codes. The role requires strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards while supporting project delivery in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Execute UT, MT, PT, and radiographic examinations following approved procedures and code requirements.
• Conduct hardness, PMI and ferrite testing after receiving equipment familiarisation training.
• Interpret film images of welds according to ASME B31.3, API 1104 and ASME Section V.
• Calibrate densitometers and other NDT equipment, maintaining up‑to‑date certification records.
• Prepare final inspection reports in the prescribed format and submit timesheets promptly.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks, use safety devices, and maintain a clean work area.

Required profile

• PCN Level II in Radiographic Testing (RTFI) with a minimum of three years post‑certification experience.
• Ability to interpret code requirements, acceptance criteria and sensitivity limits for UT, MT, PT and radiography.
• Commitment to personal and co‑worker safety, proper housekeeping and use of appropriate PPE.
• Willingness to attend company‑provided training and follow site instructions.
