About the role

The Nursing Unit Manager for the Operation Theater at Madinat Zayed Hospital will lead the delivery of safe, high‑quality patient care in a surgical environment. Reporting to senior hospital leadership, you will ensure that nursing services align with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and oversee age‑appropriate patient care throughout the operation theater.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with the Professional Code of Conduct and the regulatory body’s Scope of Practice.
• Manage clinical and operational activities to guarantee optimal clinical care, patient safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead the Nurses Leadership Team, coordinating staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
• Monitor service delivery metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with extensive experience in surgical or operation theater settings.
• Proven leadership experience managing nursing teams.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and professional standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
