Operations Associate – Grocery

About the role

The Operations Associate supports daily in‑store activities across Deliveroo’s on‑demand grocery network in the UAE. Working hands‑on in picker‑operated stores, you will ensure operational excellence, improve picker performance, and maintain high service standards for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site performance using metrics such as B10s, rejections, missing items and cancellations.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train pickers on SOPs, substitution handling, order prioritisation and picking accuracy.
• Develop site‑specific action plans to improve KPIs and report findings to central operations.
• Maintain documentation of visits, issues, solutions and performance feedback.
• Perform regular hardware checks on tablets, printers and SIMs, troubleshooting or escalating as needed.
• Collaborate with partner store managers to ensure stock availability and accurate order preparation.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in grocery, retail or delivery operations.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
