Operations Project Manager

About the role

Jifmar Group is seeking an Operations Project Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day performance of its chartered vessels. You will act as the primary liaison between ship and shore, ensuring smooth coordination of crew, safety, budgeting and contract execution while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of vessel operations, aligning activities with client contracts and project timelines.
• Monitor and control project costs in real time, collaborating with the commercial team on financial performance.
• Serve as the first point of contact for clients, addressing changing needs promptly.
• Support crew members, ensuring compliance with reporting, maintenance and onboard housekeeping standards.
• Maintain accurate project data in ERP tools and track overdue payments diplomatically.
• Collaborate daily with commercial, technical, crewing, QHSSE and other internal departments.

Required profile

• Experience in maritime operations or related project management roles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a focus on safety and quality.
• Willingness to join crews onboard when required.
