Optometrist – Eye Care & Sales Specialist

About the role

The Optometrist will deliver comprehensive eye examinations, prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses, and provide high-quality customer service within our Dubai store. The role also supports optical sales, customer retention, and daily store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct eye examinations and vision assessments, diagnose common vision problems, and prescribe appropriate lenses.
• Perform contact lens fittings, provide eye-care guidance, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Offer personalized recommendations on optical and contact lens products, follow up with customers post-examination, and build lasting relationships.
• Monitor contact lens inventory, manage expiry dates, place orders, and ensure equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or recognized qualification in Optometry.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Valid Optometrist license or eligibility letter from MOH, DHA, or DOH.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or Russian is a plus.
