Outbound Business Officer

About the role

The Outbound Business Officer will support the growth of Daman's insurance portfolio by conducting proactive sales activities, engaging potential customers, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role focuses on generating leads, converting prospects, and maintaining accurate documentation to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and follow‑ups to generate leads and achieve conversion targets.
• Meet assigned sales targets by clearly communicating product offerings.
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable insurance products.
• Research potential clients and market trends to optimise sales outreach.
• Evaluate customer feedback to improve sales strategies and experience.
• Interpret sales data and performance reports to identify improvement areas.
• Assist in developing promotional campaigns and initiatives.
• Compile outbound sales performance reports for management review.
• Identify gaps in customer communication and propose enhancements.
• Calculate key sales metrics such as conversion rates and retention figures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth sales operations.
• Support the team with administrative and operational tasks related to outbound sales.
• Document customer interactions and maintain records for compliance.
• Observe company standards and verify accuracy of customer records.
• Summarise performance insights and present recommendations for process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 0‑2 years of experience in sales, business development or customer engagement, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Salesperson (CPSP) are advantageous.
