Part-Time Ophthalmologist (Dubai)

About the role

The Ophthalmologist will join GluCare in Dubai on a part‑time basis, delivering specialised eye care with a focus on diagnosing, treating and managing eye conditions linked to diabetes. Reporting to the Medical Director, the role contributes to the clinic’s mission of providing high‑quality ophthalmic services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive ophthalmic examinations and assessments for patients with diabetic eye disease.
• Diagnose, treat and monitor ocular complications associated with diabetes, including diabetic retinopathy.
• Utilise ophthalmic imaging technologies such as OCT and fundus photography to support clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary medical team to ensure coordinated patient care.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in Ophthalmology.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the United Arab Emirates.
• Demonstrated experience in managing diabetic eye conditions.
• Availability to work part‑time hours in Dubai.
