Pastry Commis I – Kitchen Team Member

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Pastry Commis I to join our kitchen team at Al Bandar Rotana. You will support the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie in delivering high‑quality pastry dishes while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in daily pastry operations and follow menu specifications.
• Prepare daily mise‑en‑place and food production for main kitchen and satellite stations.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work area in line with hotel standards.
• Control food stock, monitor food cost, and ensure proper waste management.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Required profile

• Completed professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
• Previous experience in quality establishments with solid culinary fundamentals.
• Good command of English for effective communication.
• Positive, dynamic attitude and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
