Pharmacy Manager

About the role

The Pharmacy Manager will lead the pharmacy department at Mediclinic City Hospital, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and high‑quality pharmacy services in line with company policies and UAE regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and direction to the pharmacy team.
• Oversee accurate and timely dispensing of medication, complying with all regulatory requirements.
• Implement and monitor effective inventory management and stock control practices.
• Ensure compliance with authority and company quality and risk‑mitigation standards.
• Manage the pharmacy budget and financial performance.

Required profile

• B. Pharm degree from an accredited institution and a valid UAE pharmacist licence.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmacy management experience, with at least 2 years in a hospital setting.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of legislative and regulatory pharmacy requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry and pharmaceutical products.
• Familiarity with patient experience principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in stock management and control.
• Commercial awareness within a hospital pharmacy context.
