Pharmacy Technician (Emirati Talent)

About the role

The Pharmacy Technician will support the pharmacy team at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital by performing a range of administrative and technical duties related to medication preparation and dispensing, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medication in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Provide administrative support for prescriptions, billing, insurance claims and cash management.
• Assist with stock control, ensuring proper storage, appropriate stock levels and timely delivery to wards.
• Maintain patient records and support insurance administration processes.
• Monitor governance and risk‑management practices to ensure compliance with safety and company standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from an accredited institution.
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the relevant health authority (desired).
• 2–3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical role within a healthcare setting.
• Current professional registration in the country of origin.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Understanding of insurance procedures and billing rules.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
