Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The consultant will assess patients with physical disabilities resulting from injury, illness or chronic disease and design individualized rehabilitation programs to restore function, alleviate pain and enhance quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine rehabilitation needs and set goals.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based, personalized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress, modify interventions and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families about the rehabilitation process, self‑care and recovery expectations.
• Stay current with advances in physiatry and contribute to research and quality‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Valid medical license to practice.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and fluency in English.
