Preventive Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Preventive Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of technicians responsible for the preventive upkeep of heavy equipment, vehicles, cranes, forklifts and other lifting machines. The role ensures that all maintenance activities are carried out safely, accurately and within the scheduled time‑frames.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage PM technicians on a daily basis.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance and verify output quality.
• Provide technical guidance for inspections, lubrication and equipment washing.
• Ensure all preventive maintenance work follows checklists and manufacturer recommendations.
• Conduct field inspections and confirm completion of critical PM points.
• Review completed PM checklists, report abnormalities and raise corrective work orders.
• Coordinate with stores for PM kits, filters and consumables.
• Maintain proper documentation and submit PM reports.
• Enforce safe working practices during all maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6–8 years of experience in preventive maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical and technical background.
• Proven ability to supervise technicians effectively.
• Leadership and reporting capabilities.
