Pricing Executive – Road Freight

About the role

The Pricing Executive will lead the development and optimisation of pricing strategies for UAE road freight and transport services. You will work closely with operations, fleet, commercial and finance teams to ensure pricing aligns with business goals and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement pricing strategies for FTL, LTL, dedicated fleet and cross‑border services.
• Analyse UAE and GCC market trends, competitor pricing, customer demand and capacity movements.
• Evaluate transportation and fleet operating costs, including fuel, tolls, driver wages, maintenance and subcontractor rates.
• Identify revenue and margin improvement opportunities through pricing reviews, route optimisation and customer segmentation.
• Support commercial teams in negotiating pricing agreements with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor pricing performance metrics and KPIs such as margin, utilization, revenue per truck and lane profitability.
• Ensure compliance with DP World policies, UAE transport regulations and commercial governance standards.
• Assess and mitigate pricing risks related to fuel price volatility, route restrictions and market fluctuations.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, providing transparent pricing support.
• Prepare competitive proposals for tenders, RFQs and pricing submissions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in road freight pricing, transport operations, freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proven track record in developing pricing strategies, transport costing and commercial negotiations.
• Hands‑on experience analysing road freight cost structures and fleet operations.
