About the role
We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher for primary‑level classes at GEMS United Indian School. The successful candidate will inspire young learners, encourage independent thinking, and create a supportive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver English language instruction to primary students.
- Foster a learning atmosphere that promotes critical thinking and independence.
- Utilise the CBSE curriculum where applicable to meet learning objectives.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Arts or Master of Arts in English or Social Studies, plus a Bachelor of Education.
- Degree obtained through traditional on‑campus study (distance or open university not accepted).
- Preferably experienced with the CBSE curriculum.
- Dynamic, creative, and able to motivate students.
- Strong team player with good IT and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent command of English.
