Primary Teacher (IB PYP) – Starting August

About the role

GEMS World Academy Dubai is seeking passionate Primary Teachers to join its IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) team from August 2026. The school serves a diverse, international community and is committed to fostering inquiry, reflection, and caring learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PYP curriculum for PreK‑Grade 5 students.
• Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and support the school’s learner‑profile values.
• Provide personal and academic support to students, contributing to a caring classroom environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree plus a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE or equivalent).
• Minimum three years of primary‑level teaching experience, preferably within an IB school.
• Strong alignment with the IB philosophy and commitment to the Learner Profile.
• Enthusiasm for working in a non‑selective, culturally diverse community.
