Principal – Energy Consulting Lead

About the role

Following a recent merger, FGE and NexantECA, leading consulting companies specializing in energy markets, are expanding their consulting department in Dubai. The Principal will lead consulting sales and project delivery for petrochemical and energy clients, driving revenue and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close, creating proposals and securing high‑end consulting, subscription and report revenue.
• Manage ongoing relationships with senior managers and executives in the energy, refining and chemical sectors.
• Lead sales generation across the EMEA region, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
• Develop and convert proposals for petrochemical operators, banks, private‑equity firms and licensing companies for feasibility studies, due‑diligence, trade analyses and technology assessments.
• Act as project executive, leading junior and mid‑level consultants to deliver quality results on time and profitably.
• Collaborate with NexantECA senior management to shape and grow the firm’s regional and global presence.

Required profile

• Significant experience in the petrochemical industry or with a top‑tier industry/management consultancy.
• Excellent leadership and strong project‑management capabilities.
• Proven experience interacting with senior industry executives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated track record of generating consulting revenue.
