Proactive Sales Executive – Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Executive to join our team at Aloft Hotels in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on driving revenue through effective sales techniques, up‑selling, and maintaining strong guest loyalty for the Marriott brand.

Key responsibilities

• Contact appropriate departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Apply sales techniques to maximise revenue while preserving guest loyalty, including up‑selling and offering complimentary gifts.
• Promote the brand internally and externally and process Marriott Rewards redemptions.
• Handle reservation requests, changes and cancellations via phone, fax or mail and enter data into the Marriott reservation system.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing and faxing to support Sales & Marketing.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, and act as a role model.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and protect company assets.
• Provide courteous guest service, answer calls with proper etiquette and develop positive working relationships.
• Move, lift, push or pull objects up to 10 lb and perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum two years of relevant sales or customer‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Willingness to follow company policies and maintain confidentiality.
