Procurement Buyer – Food & Beverage

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a motivated Buyer to join its Procurement team and support the Food & Beverage operations of the upcoming integrated resort. The role involves sourcing, negotiating and ordering goods and services while ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Source, negotiate and process purchase orders for food and beverage items in line with end‑user requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, perform data entry for requisitions and orders, and correct any discrepancies.
• Monitor product quality, cost effectiveness and lead‑times, preparing regular supply‑chain performance reports.
• Develop and sustain proactive relationships with suppliers, adhering to contractual guidelines.
• Conduct periodic stock checks, reconcile purchase orders with receiving documents and vendor invoices.
• Collaborate with inventory control and end users to optimise stock levels and storage utilisation.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma or higher.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in food & beverage procurement within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong communication, integrity and organisational abilities.
• Team‑player who thrives in a high‑pressure environment.

Required skills

• BirchStreet procurement system (preferred).
