Procurement Manager – Direct & Indirect Purchasing (Dubai)

About the role

The company is seeking a Procurement Manager or Assistant Procurement Manager to lead both direct and indirect purchasing activities from its head office in Dubai. The role involves sourcing raw materials, packaging, and managing the full import‑export logistics chain while supporting marketing and retail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure fragrance oils, alcohol, chemicals, and other production raw materials.
• Manage packaging procurement including bottles, caps, pumps, labels, cartons, gift boxes and display packaging.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers; negotiate pricing, contracts and delivery terms.
• Prepare procurement plans based on sales forecasts, production schedules and retail replenishment needs.
• Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and avoid shortages or excess.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Retail Operations, R&D and Finance teams.
• Handle international shipments, freight forwarding, customs documentation and clearance.
• Manage indirect procurement for office supplies, IT equipment, facility consumables, service contracts and marketing materials.
• Support marketing and retail teams by sourcing visual merchandising, promotional items and event materials.
• Evaluate supplier performance, maintain contracts and drive cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in perfume, cosmetics or personal‑care manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in sourcing fragrance oils, packaging materials and managing import/export logistics.
• Hands‑on experience in demand planning and inventory management.
• Experience handling indirect procurement for office, IT and marketing purchases.
