Procurement Senior Officer

About the role

The Procurement Senior Officer supports GDMO’s procurement activities, ensuring cost‑effective sourcing and smooth supplier management. Working closely with directors, heads and managers, the role bridges business needs with procurement processes and legal contract development.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and present preferred and alternative supplier options.
• Conduct market research, monitor pricing trends and evaluate supplier performance.
• Issue purchase orders and contracts, maintain accurate procurement records, and track delivery timelines.
• Assist in supplier negotiations and contract discussions under supervision.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
• Prepare and deliver KPI reports, supplier performance analyses and other procurement metrics.
• Work with the Legal Specialist to draft, review, amend and renew contracts.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working within a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Professional certification in procurement (preferred).
