Production Planning Officer

About the role

Emirates Engineering is a world‑class aircraft maintenance facility supporting Emirates and a network of partner airlines. The Production Planning Officer will coordinate material planning, estimation and workshop activities to ensure maintenance checks are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and guide any reporting team members.
• Act as deputy for the immediate supervisor when required.
• Participate in projects aimed at continuously improving the Production Planning service.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure pre‑draws, including modification kits, are delivered before aircraft input.
• Review material requests, monitor stock availability, and prioritize deliveries based on order priority.
• Identify and resolve material shortages, coordinating with the Material Organization/FTM for part set‑up.
• Manage Ship Shop Ship (S/S/S), Tasks 2 and repair orders to guarantee timely return of parts to the aircraft.
• Provide daily status reports to Production Planning Engineers and production teams.
• Monitor material usage against the check budget and suggest cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Coordinate robbery activity for assigned events, ensuring proper processing through the virtual robbery store.

Required profile

• Experience in material coordination within an aircraft maintenance or similar high‑tech environment.
• Ability to supervise and train junior team members.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude to address part non‑availability and workflow impacts.
