Production Supervisor – Bottled Water Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead the daily operations of Culligan’s bottled water manufacturing plant. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will ensure that production runs smoothly, safely and efficiently while meeting quality and output targets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programmes to minimise equipment downtime.
• Plan and prepare the plant for each shift, coordinating with the Head of Department to address operational concerns.
• Develop and maintain a routine maintenance schedule for all machinery, ensuring compliance and avoiding delays.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, guaranteeing timely availability of critical components.
• Supervise production staff, enforce safety and quality standards, and provide training and performance support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in production supervision within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, production planning and GMP/GHP compliance.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with production management software.
• Knowledge of GMP and GHP compliance requirements.
• Understanding of HACCP principles.
