Project Engineer – Construction & Fit‑out (Dubai)

About the role

The Project Engineer will oversee day‑to‑day technical and site management of assigned construction and fit‑out projects in Dubai, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, to quality standards and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities, coordinate subcontractors and site teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs and project requirements.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower and procurement.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor quality, progress and workmanship on site.
• Prepare and follow up on RFIs, inspections, approvals and technical submissions.
• Track project variations, assist with cost control and prepare progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and proper handover/close‑out.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of UAE construction/fit‑out experience.
• Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification.
• Strong knowledge of villa renovation, fit‑out works, landscape and joinery.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and BOQs.
• UAE driving licence.
