Project Officer – Arabic Assessment (Dubai)

About the role

ACER Middle East is seeking a Project Officer to support the development of Arabic International Benchmark Tests. Based in Dubai, you will work with a specialist assessment team to create high‑quality Arabic assessment materials that align with the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and improve Arabic assessment items for the International Benchmark Tests.
• Apply deep knowledge of the UAE Ministry of Education Arabic curriculum to ensure content relevance.
• Collaborate with assessment professionals in Dubai and Australia to maintain consistency and quality.
• Provide analytical feedback on item performance and suggest enhancements.
• Support the documentation and reporting of assessment development processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Education, Education or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience teaching Arabic in UAE K‑12 schools.
• Direct experience with the UAE Ministry of Education Arabic curriculum (essential).
• Strong understanding of curriculum requirements, learning progression and student needs.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
