Recreation Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

As a Recreation Attendant you will deliver warm, engaging and locally authentic service to guests using the resort’s pool and beach facilities, ensuring a memorable leisure experience in a luxury, upscale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with guests, issuing towels, chaise lounge covers and assisting with lounge and cabana set‑up.
• Collect used towels and debris from the pool deck throughout the day.
• Provide personalized experiences while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, set‑up and ambiance.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all wellness and recreation services, activities and amenities.
• Upsell and promote wellness and recreation offers to maximise revenue.
• Perform opening and closing duties, setting the pool according to standards and procedures.
• Follow hotel fire, life‑safety and emergency procedures.
• Uphold a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by hotel management.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience as a recreation attendant.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of recreational equipment and facilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic first‑aid and emergency response knowledge.
• Willingness to undertake any assignment delegated by the department manager.
