Regional Communications Director – Middle East, KSA & Africa

About the role

The Regional Communications Director will lead all internal and external communication activities for Thales across the Middle East, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Africa. Reporting functionally to the Head of International Communications and directly to the Head of Region, you will ensure that the company’s messaging aligns with group strategy and Thales standards while strengthening the brand’s presence in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy (internal and external) for the region.
• Coordinate with country directors, marketing, key account managers and HR to deliver consistent messaging.
• Manage media relations, digital communications, events and exhibitions to increase brand awareness.
• Collaborate with Group Communications functions (branding, advertising, media, digital, managerial) and global business units.
• Monitor and optimise the return on communication investments in line with group directives.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership and challenge the status quo.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in corporate communications or public relations.
• Strong strategic thinking and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of regional markets is a plus.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
