Regional Home Furnishing Direction Leader – Retail

About the role

The Regional Home Furnishing Direction Leader will drive IKEA’s home furnishing and interior design strategy across the market, ensuring the brand’s distinct identity is reflected in every store and customer touch‑point.

Key responsibilities

• Support the GM Marketing & Communication manager in executing the country business plan and interior‑design initiatives.
• Develop and adapt interior‑design solutions that align with local commercial priorities and create regional guidelines.
• Produce market‑specific content for social media, commercial channels and omnichannel campaigns.
• Analyse brand‑capital and visitor insights to improve the customer experience and increase conversion.
• Guide stores on range presentation, room settings, vignettes and sales‑support areas to preserve IKEA’s brand uniqueness.
• Coach and mentor interior designers and store interior‑design managers, translating global documents into locally relevant training material.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in interior design or home‑furnishing within a retail environment.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate global concepts into regional actions.
• Excellent collaboration skills across marketing, communication and store teams.
• Analytical mindset to interpret brand‑capital and visitor feedback.
