Regional QHSE Manager – MEC (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

EnerMech is seeking a Regional QHSE Manager to lead health, safety, quality and environmental initiatives across the MEC region from its Abu Dhabi office. The role involves developing, implementing and verifying global HSE standards, driving performance metrics and providing on‑site coaching to ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and audit QHSE management systems such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
• Monitor, report and analyse HSE performance data to drive continuous improvement.
• Coach field teams on HSE standards, conduct training and verify compliance.
• Maintain all HSE documentation, procedures and records.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard and operability studies, and incident investigations using techniques like Bow‑Tie, FMEA, Fishbone and 5‑Why.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local, national and international legislation (OSHA, EPA, EU‑OSHA, etc.).

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in QHSE management (approximately 120 months).
• Proven expertise in auditing and leading QHSE systems.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
