Registered Midwife

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Midwife to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care across hospital, community, and home settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver full antenatal care, including screening tests, in hospital, community and home environments.
• Identify high‑risk pregnancies and refer patients to doctors or specialists.
• Monitor and examine women throughout pregnancy and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide parenting and health education, as well as counselling before and after tests.
• Support families after miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, or neonatal complications.
• Assist and supervise mothers in labour, monitor fetal condition, and manage pain relief.
• Guide new parents on infant care, including breastfeeding, bathing and feeding.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Midwifery (minimum 3 years) or Nursing with a Midwifery Certificate (minimum 1 year).
• At least 2 years of post‑qualification experience in a hospital setting.
• HAAD licence or eligibility letter is highly preferred.
