Registered Nurse – Maternity Ward

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide patient‑centric, evidence‑based care to mothers and newborns in the Maternity Ward of Mediclinic Parkview Hospital. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high‑quality post‑natal services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in partnership with the multi‑professional team, adhering to clinical standards and legislation.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing, and managing risks in line with clinical risk policies.
• Create a positive patient experience by fostering a supportive environment as guided by nursing leadership.
• Supervise, mentor and coach learners and nursing staff to build competence and a learning culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• DHA licence or eligibility.
• Minimum three years recent experience in a maternity ward handling post‑natal mothers and babies, preferably in the UAE.
• Compliance with UAE Emiratization preferences.

Required skills

• Basic Arabic language skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
