Registered Nurse – Recovery and Day Case

About the role

King’s College Hospital London – Dubai is expanding its world‑renowned care to the UAE and seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse for its Recovery and Day Case Unit. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring patients recover safely after surgery or procedures, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care to patients recovering from anaesthesia.
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels and overall recovery progress.
• Facilitate smooth patient flow from admission through discharge in the day‑case pathway.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and fellow nurses to ensure seamless clinical handovers.

Required profile

• DHA‑licensed or eligible Registered Nurse.
• Minimum three years post‑registration experience, preferably in PACU, recovery or day‑surgery settings.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑standard environment.
• Excellent communication, empathy and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Post‑anaesthesia patient monitoring.
• Recovery unit protocols and day‑case workflow.
