Research Assistant (Business & Entrepreneurship)

About the role

The Department of Family Medicine at United Arab Emirates University seeks a motivated Research Assistant to support ongoing studies in entrepreneurship and family business management. This fixed‑term position runs until 31 December 2026 and offers the chance to work closely with senior academics and industry professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including data collection from students, scholars, entrepreneurs and professionals.
• Assist in preparing manuscripts for journal submission and manage related administrative tasks.
• Maintain research databases, ensure data quality, and support statistical analysis.
• Coordinate communication with research participants and stakeholders.
• Contribute to project reporting and presentation of findings.

Required profile

• Master degree in Entrepreneurship, Business, Management or a related field from a UAE‑accredited university.
• Strong knowledge of entrepreneurship and business fundamentals; research experience in family business is a plus.
• Published papers in Business, Family Business Management or Entrepreneurship.
• Excellent communication and networking abilities.
• Prior experience as a Research Assistant or similar role is advantageous.
• Residency in the UAE (employment, study, dependent or golden visa) preferred.
