Retail Sales Assistant – Toys R Us

About the role

The Sales Assistant is a key member of the Toys R Us retail team in Abu Dhabi, responsible for driving sales and delivering a welcoming customer experience. You will support store operations, maintain visual standards, and ensure efficient service throughout the store.

Key responsibilities

• Customer Interaction – greet shoppers with a smile, provide up‑to‑date product information, thank them on exit and invite them back.
• Sales and Cash Management – generate sales through excellent service, manage fitting‑room assistance, promote gift‑cards at the cash wrap, keep the wrap area tidy and record customer data.
• Store Maintenance – uphold store cleanliness, perform housekeeping duties and maintain visual presentation standards.

Required profile

• High School diploma with 1‑2 years of retail sales experience.
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours, perform some heavy lifting and work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales management software.
• Experience using customer database systems.
• Knowledge of CAD packages such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator or Photoshop.
