Room Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

As a Room Attendant at Banyan Tree Dubai you will ensure guest rooms and suites are cleaned, maintained and presented to the highest luxury standards. You will create a welcoming, comfortable and immaculate environment for every guest, delivering attention to detail, discretion and service excellence in line with the Banyan Tree brand.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms and suites, including making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms and replenishing amenities.
• Ensure rooms are tidy, well‑presented and ready for guest arrival or return.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, providing additional items as required.
• Assist with cleaning of corridors, service areas and back‑of‑house spaces when needed.
• Provide evening turndown service, adjusting lights and preparing amenities for guest comfort.
• Follow all housekeeping hygiene, safety and sanitation procedures, using chemicals and equipment correctly.
• Report maintenance issues or defects promptly and maintain organised housekeeping trolleys.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or resort preferred.
• Understanding of cleaning standards and procedures.
• Ability to work in a physically active role with good stamina.
• Basic communication skills in English preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Discretion, professionalism and a positive, hardworking attitude.
